Two Bay Pump Stand


	Ease of Assembly and Service is the Number One Goal We designed this pump stand with two things in mind: 1. Ease of assembly and 2. Ease of Maintenance and Repair. There are many aspects of our pump stands that we believe make them unique. The biggest feature that sets it apart from other pump stands is the "staggered-stack" design of the pump/motor plates. In other words, they are offset which allows easy access to both pumps for service and maintenance. Both the upper and lower pump/motor plates can be slid out when necessary. This allows assembly of the pump, motor, and plumbing on a workbench instead of on the stand itself. Another aspect that makes this stand so great is the "L shaped" design of the pump/motor plates allowing more room for ease of plumbing and again, maintenance. Along with this design, the mounting nuts and bolts are already welded into the frame which makes assembly much easier. The motor section of the plate has mounting holes to accept 182, 182T, 184, and 184T motor frames. The pump section of the plate, which is designed to accept 300 and 500 series CAT Pumps with box rails (CAT part number 30241),has a guide welded in place to align the pump rails and keep the pump straight when adjusting belt tension. This takes the hassle out of aligning the pump and motor belt pulleys. There are also two adjusting screws that move the pump to tighten the belt. CLICK ON ANY OF THE PICTURES FOR BETTER DETAIL! Control Cabinet Designed to Fit Your Needs This cabinet, which is 30" wide, 14" high, and 7 1/2 " deep, has some special features that are intended to fit the customer's needs. To begin with, the lid hinges at the top and folds completely over and becomes a flat surface that can be used and will not drop closed. It also has a latch at the bottom that can be locked if desired. Along with that, all holes that are required for conduit, solenoids, and other items are punched in the locations and to the sizes that the customer needs. This eliminates any need to use knock-out punches which allows for quicker, more efficient assembly. Another Great Feature Though it is a little hard to see, this removable mounting board for controls is a feature that adds even more ease to service and assembly. Constructed of .080" thick aluminum, this board has 1/8" starter holes punched in the locations that the customer has in mind for the arrangement of the components. Supply Manifold Design Makes for Ease of Plumbing On each pump stand are two 1 1/2" square stainless tubes with 1 1/2" female NPT fittings on each end. These are the supply manifolds. They are bolted to the back legs, which makes them easily removable, and the overall length is 27" to match the width of the stand. What makes this a special feature of our stand is that the customer can specify the size and locations of the fittings that are needed. Also, they are designed to link from one stand to another which allows for the need of only one supply line for two to two hundred bays.
